Paul N. Iannone is counsel in the firm's tax practice group. He is an attorney and C.P.A. Paul brings to the firm over 35 years of diversified tax experience, including law firm, multinational corporations, I.R.S., public accounting, and academia. Paul focuses his practice on tax planning for businesses and their owners; mergers and acquisitions; representation before the I.R.S. and state and local tax authorities; tax litigation; international tax issues and structuring; and insurance company taxation. He helps clients achieve their business and personal goals by offering a pragmatic approach to tax planning while assisting clients maintain compliance with an extremely complex tax system. Paul also offers in-house tax training for C.PA. firms and is a regular speaker for the Connecticut Society of CPAs.

Prior to joining the firm, Paul was a Tax Director for Deloitte Tax LLP in their Merger and Acquisition Transaction Service Group performing tax structuring and tax due diligence for both buyers and sellers. At Deloitte, he represented both strategic and private equity clients. Prior to Deloitte, Paul operated his own tax law firm; was tax counsel at two multi-national insurance companies; a tax partner in a medium-sized C.P.A. firm; and an assistant professor of business law and taxation at Sacred Heart University teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels. He is a graduate of Quinnipiac College School of Law and has a Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of New Haven.
