Richard P. Joslyn
Richard P. Joslyn is an associate in the firm's Trust and Estates Department. He has experience counselling individuals and families in the areas of trust and estate planning, charitable giving, tax efficient wealth transfers, and asset protection. His practice includes drafting a broad range of individualized estate planning documents for clients, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Advanced Medical Directives.

Experience
Prior to joining Rogin Nassau, Mr. Joslyn focused his practice on estate planning, litigation, and real estate transactions. Mr. Joslyn earned his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2022, where he was Lead Articles Editor of the Connecticut Law Review. He received the 2022 Kent Newmyer Award in American Legal History for his academic excellence in the field of American Legal History. Mr. Joslyn Student Note, "For the Right Reasons: The Rules of the Game for Institutionalists", was published in Vol. 54 of the Connecticut Law Review. He worked as a judicial intern for Judge Alfred V. Covello at the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Education
Mr. Joslyn received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2022. He received his B.A., cum laude, from Wake Forest University in 2015.
